Thanks to herestothehalcyon, I just discovered Shovels and Rope have a new album coming out called “Oh Be Joyful.”  I’d doubt many know this, but that is the slang term Civil War soldiers used for their homemade booze that often included lamp oil, tree bark, hard tack or what ever else was around. This fun fact equals best album name ever.

History is Awesome.  That is all.

I met someone who doesn’t know anything about the Truckers/Lucero/Anything Worth Knowing

so I am drinking my seventh beer as I make a disk(s) for their education.  Playlist is 84 songs and counting.  I might be drunk before I finish sorting all this awesome.
